Coban Rondo Waterfall has a history. A long time ago, there was a just married couple. The wife invited her husband to walk around the waterfall at their less than 40 days marriage. In Java, it's prohibited to go out of the house in a less than 40 days marriage. But the wife didn't care about the rule. So they decided to go to the waterfall.
On the way to waterfall, they met bandit. The bandit wanted to seized the wife. The husband fight the bandit, the wife scared, she ran to waterfall. She sat in a big stone and waited for her husband. But she didn't know that her husband died. Both husband and the bandit died at that fight. That's why this waterfall named Coban Rondo, which in Java language it meas widow.
